HET FINANCIEELE DAGBLAD TO BE PRINTED BY DE TELEGRAAF

The Managing Boards of Het Financieele Dagblad and N.V. Holdingmaatschappij De Telegraaf have reached an agreement in principle about a long-term contract concerning the printing and distribution of Het Financieele Dagblad by the Telegraaf Company.

Het Financieele Dagblad will be included in De Telegraaf logistics (transport, distribution and delivery) for paid subscription and single-copy sales. The new arrangement will enable Het Financieele Dagblad to utilise more opportunities for circulation growth.

Access to De Telegraaf printing presses means that Het Financieele Dagblad will have greater colour capability in respect of articles as well as advertisements.

Het Financieele Dagblad will not switch to De Telegraaf printing presses until 1 September 2000 at the earliest, when the current contract with PCM is due to expire.

The value of the contract - measured over the whole life of the contract - will total at least NLG 100 million.
