Patrick Morley appointed COO of TMG effective 1 December 2007

As a follow up to its 29 August 2007 announcement, TMG (Telegraaf Media Groep) is pleased to announce that Patrick Morley has been appointed COO and will become a member of the Executive Board as per 1 December 2007. Effective on that date the members of TMG’s Executive Board will consist of A.J. Swartjes (CEO) , F. Th. J. Arp (CFO) and P. Morley, MSc (COO).

During the past two years, J.W.S. Eyssen served as TMG’s COO a.i. Jan Willem Eyssen specialises in carrying out key organisational changes from a statutory perspective and over defined timeframes. He created broad support and implemented far reaching reorganisations within TMG’s printing, distribution, ICT and services departments within the context of TMG’s operational excellence plan. In addition, he also served as a sparring partner at the strategic level and provided leadership for information technology projects. TMG is very grateful for what he has accomplished.

Mr Morley will initially be closely involved in the continued development of Telegraaf Media Nederland which incorporates TMG’s printing and digital activities in the Netherlands. For the time being Mr Arp will also assume responsibility for the printing, distribution, ICT and services departments. These steps safeguard the continuation and expansion of TMG’s operational excellence plan. All efforts are focused on maintaining and promoting the further growth of the company’s success.
